IT Support Engineer (f/m/d) at Porsche


The IT Support Engineer will join a team focused on providing technical support to local users, assuring a customized service concerning standard applications and hardware. The successful candidate will have experience with managing and configuring IT equipment and applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary, as the position require a good working relationship with internal and external customers and other professionals, such as software developers.
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners are your core activities
  • You are responsible for IT inventory and IT Asset Lifecycle, including ordering, repairing and replacing IT equipment
  • Your area of responsibility also consists of maintaining Asset Database and updating inventory lists accordingly
  • You respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • You provide technical support to local users - this may be in person, over the phone or by email
  • Collaborating with international project teams


  • You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or an equivalent education
  • You have at least one year of experience in technical support
  • You have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • You are proficient in MS Office Suite, Windows 7, Windows 10 and Mac OSX
  • You have basic networking knowledge and knowledge of Active Directory
  • You have the ability to prioritize and delegate
  • You speak English very well, and German language is considered a plus
  • You’re a team player with a service-oriented working style, and as a self-confident person, you always have an eye for the essentials
  • You are flexible and willing to travel abroad/domestic, whenever it is required
